Lesley Allgrove - Timber Framer/Carpenter
Lesley has worked with wood her entire working career. After completing carpentry school in 2005, she went on to learn the craft of log building with a well-known handcrafted log building company where she developed log building skills and was introduced to the heavy timber framing.
After her three years of on-the-job experience log building and timber framing, Lesley worked as an independent contractor completing framing, trim, window and door installations, wood and tile floor installations, and siding.
Her passion for working with wood led her to OT Timber Frames. Lesley is now the lead hand timber framer/carpenter and oversees projects from start to finish. Lesley has extensive experience with the complete building process and her attention to detail and pride in doing a job well can be seen in the quality of the work she completes.
Lesley spends her free time playing soft-ball, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Kash.
Reudi Baumann - Timber Framer/Carpenter
Ruedi’s passion for wood and building started at an early age on the dairy farm in Degersheim, Switzerland where he grew up. It began with various building projects on the farm, and Ruedi was inspired to pursue a career in carpentry from his older brother, Rolf, who was the first to become a carpenter in the Baumann family. Ruedi worked as a timber framer in Switzerland for 6 years, and spent 9 months studying master carpentry at a vocational school in Biel, before he and his buddy, Stefan, cooked up a plan one night to head to Canada to become log home builders.
During his 18 month stay in Williams Lake (2004-2005), working for a leading log home company, Ruedi fell in love with the Cariboo, and met a few significant people that would greatly influence his decision to make his home in Williams Lake. Since his permanent move to Canada in January 2007, Ruedi has enjoyed working as a lead timber framer for a local company (2007-2015) and now most recently for OT Timber Frames since November 2015. Over the years, his passion for building quality homes to last generations has only grown.
During his free time, he can be found taking in the Cariboo snow and sunshine, on the slopes or around a campfire with his family.
