As our company grows, we are looking for a Project Manager who can help coordinate projects from design through production and delivery while maintaining strong communication between clients and our internal team.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing timber frame projects from the planning phase through completion. This role ensures that projects move efficiently through design, planning, manufacturing, and delivery while meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
The Project Manager acts as the central point of coordination between clients, architects, engineers, planners, and the workshop team. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination

Manage timber frame construction projects from design development through production and completion

Review drawings and project documentation to ensure readiness for production

Coordinate internal planning and manufacturing schedules
Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and the production team

Maintain clear communication and provide regular updates on project progress

Address questions, design clarifications, and project changes as needed
Scheduling & Production Planning

Track project schedules, materials, and production timelines

Work closely with planners and the workshop team to ensure efficient project flow

Identify potential delays and coordinate solutions to keep projects on schedule
Budget & Progress Monitoring

Monitor project costs and progress throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure projects remain aligned with budgets and timelines

Support planning of materials and project logistics
Quality & Process Management

Ensure project information is accurate and properly communicated to the production team

Maintain organization of project documentation and timelines

Support continuous improvement in project coordination and workflow
Ideal Background

Experience in construction project management or timber frame projects

Understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project planning

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills for working with clients, designers, and production teams

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with timber frame construction, wood manufacturing, or CNC-based production environments is considered an asset.
